Why some people do not like Elsa? facebook: https://www.facebook.com/frozenfeverelsaeanna?fref=ts
Hello, I Love Elsa, but it has some people who do not like Elsa, like a friend of mine she said this: Criticizing the sequence "Let It Go" Frozen (and trying to explain why he did not like Elsa in the movie ) I said on the Facebook page that Elsa "should be worried about the terrible damage caused to the city, and not enjoying his castle with sexy dresses." The other day talking with friends, they reminded me that Elsa did not know what had caused terrible damage to the city. In other words, I could not dislike her because of that. So I decided to review the film to analyze what really happened in the first act (up to 31 minutes of film when Elsa sings "Let It Go")
that made me dislike the character. Hhe selected six moments of the film, and I made this post to defend Elsa.
1) 8:53 - Anna want to build a snowman with Elsa, but she sends her sister to leave without explanation. If Elsa was kind, she would make it clear who has affection for his sister but can not play because it was forbidden by the parents (or for any other reason). There is no good reason why Elsa can not tell Anna about his "curse." But even if there was a valid reason given by trolls, Elsa could invent an excuse (which has a contagious disease, etc.). What she would never do would be to let her best friend thinking being rejected.
Defend Elsa Elsa was afraid to hurt Anna again, and the idea of locking in the room was not her idea was his father.
2) 10:40 - When their parents die, Elsa refuses to comfort her sister, who is herself begging for your company. Elsa is silent on the other side of the door.
Defending Elsa: Again Elsa was afraid and did not know how to tell his sister about his powers.
3) 20:30 - When the two meet at the ball, Elsa behaves formal and distant way about his sister.
Defending Elsa: I did not see it happen.
4) 22:25 - Anna says that the two could go back to being friends. Elsa says no, gets angry and refuses to explain once again.
It does not say that the two can no longer be friends, and I think the blame is always repedia her father to Elsa: "Conceal, do not feel, do not let Them know ..."
5) 25:50 - Anna and Hans are in love and will ask the blessing of Elsa, which appears cold, shows no sympathy for the feelings of her sister, and does not authorize the marriage.
Defend Elsa: Anna was lacking, I also would be if he stayed years without seeing anyone, and Anna did not want to be alone, and Hans is the villain of the story, and Elsa knew Hans Anna did not know how right she could authorize marriage? If I were you, I accept? ( I love Anna too)
6) 29:40 - Elsa attacks some people in the party and brings winter curse for the entire city. As it does so unintentionally, in fact we can not blame her for this moment. But she might try to justify or apologize before fleeing - and does not. The point is that the MOVIE not seem to be trying to build a likable character at that time. The problem is neither Elsa but the screenplay. Imagine if, shortly before leaving singing the hills, the Sound of Music unwittingly provoke a fire in the convent and hurt some nuns. It would be unintentional on her part, but seeing her singing and having fun after that scene would be totally inappropriate if the intention of the film were to create a likable character.
Defend Elsa Elsa does not attack anyone! And she runs away because he is afraid, and she gets scared when he discovers that froze Arendelle, and some people had called her show, asked if it was dangerous, you also would not be scared and run away?
My friend also spoke on his blog: This all sounds like a script error so coarse that could not have been committed by an innocent writer. But this fact on IMDb seems to explain what happened, and shows what happens when executives insensitive interfere with the integrity of an artwork:

"Originally, the Queen Elsa was supposed to be the villain of the story. However, when the main character of the song," Let It Go ", was played to the producers, they concluded that not only the music was very attractive, as its themes of empowerment and self-acceptance they were too positive to express a villain. So, history was rewritten to have Elsa as an innocent isolated ... ".

That is, instead of changing slightly the lyrics that sounded inappropriate, and keep the essence of the story, they decided to change the entire story to fit the music - and did the work in half. It might have worked, but not everything has been rewritten, and Elsa, portrayed positively, is constantly revealing villain traits that should have been.

People! I discuss with my friend because she said that, I do not agree with it, and I want you to comment WHAT vocem think of her criticism and please Enjoy the our page on facebook for me to continue posting: https://www.facebook.com/frozenfeverelsaeanna?fref=ts
